FIRST TIME GUESTS:
WHAT TO EXPECT

If it's your first time at Beulah, you're our honored guest!

We pray BBIC is a place where you can find hope, healing, and purpose, as we seek to build together! Over the years, this family has grown and changed, but one thing will always stay the same: Our love for Jesus and love for each other.

Here at Beulah, we unashamedly embrace our ethnicity and celebrate our culture as an African American Church! Individuals of all races are welcome, but we don’t shrink back or hide who God made us to be as African Americans.  In the words of James Brown “we’re black and we’re proud!”  Therefore, when you visit Beulah you will hear African American gospel songs, you may see us dressed in African garb, and you may hear a social justice sermon related to the black community!

We understand showing up at a new place for the first time can be nerve-wracking, so here's more information about Beulah and what you can expect:

  • Please look for reserved parking spots just for our first time guests.

  • We strive to keep our services to 100 minutes, but no longer than 110 minutes.

  • People at our worship services usually wear what feels comfortable for them.  Whether that's worshipping in a suit or dress, slacks and a shirt or even a       t-shirt and jeans, God accepts you how you are, therefore we do as well.

  • On 1st and 3rd Sundays we offer Level Up Sunday for our children and youth! During this time, Kingdom Kidz (ages 5-12) and Teen Eagles (ages 13-18) gather in the Lowry Center (the building to the right of the Worship Center) for a time of instruction, worship, and interaction, giving parents the opportunity to fully engage in worship.

Here's what your child and teen can look forward to:

  • Age-appropriate Bible teaching that meets kids and teens,

  • Interactive worship and praise led by our leadership team and youth team,

  • Small group discussion time to build community and friendships,

  • Games, activities, and creative learning to keep it fun and engaging,

  • A safe space for youth to ask real questions and grow in their faith.

We also offer Baby Beulights Nursery every Sunday for our little ones, ages 6 months to 4 years old. Click the link below to pre-register your child.

Both the Lowry Center and Nursery are secured facilities with controlled access, check-in/check-out procedures, and monitored entry points to ensure your child's safety at all times. In addition, all volunteer team members must successfully complete a background check and youth and child protection training and are certified by Safe Gathering Inc.

We welcome you and can't wait to see your children and teens grow in the Lord with us!
